Evgenia’s recent and upcoming engagements include Katerina Izmailova, Aksiniya and Convict in Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk (Salzburger Festspiele), Liza in The Queen of Spades, the title role in R. Strauss’s Salome, Katerina Izmailova in Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk, Der Idiot by Weinberg, Gutrune in Götterdämmerung (all at Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg), Floria Tosca in Tosca and Nedda in Pagliacci (Sankt Petersburg Chamber Opera), Leonora in Il trovatore (Tatar State Opera, Kazan), Tatyana in Eugene Onegin (Komische Oper Berlin).
Her operatic repertoire comprises also Pannochka in Rimsky-Korsakov’s May Night, First Dame in The Magic Flute, Countess in Le nozze di Figaro, Natalia in Tchaikovsky’s The Oprichnik, Lyubka in Prokofiev’s Semyon Kotko, Tatyana in Eugene Onegin (all at Mariinsky Theatre), Tatyana in Eugene Onegin, Mimi in La bohème, Donna Anna in Don Giovanni, Liza in The Queen of Spades, Kseniya in Boris Godunov (St Petersburg Chamber Opera).
She has also taken part in Vladimir Chernov’s recital at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow under the baton of Evgeny Bushkov, and has performed the soprano solo in Poulenc’s Gloria conducted by Vladimir Minin at the Grand Hall of the Moscow State Conservatory.
She was a soloist at the Mariinsky Academy of Young Opera Singers (2007-2011), and since 2010 she has been a soloist with the St Petersburg Chamber Opera and guest soloist of Mariinsky Theatre. She graduated from the Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg State Conservatory (classes with Professor Irina Bogacheva).
